How it works
From ranked Solo/Duo match data to Nex Score — comparison method, calibration pool, and what we measure.
Overview
Nex Score is a percentile versus players at your rank.
Same rank, same role
Baselines are built per tier + role on ranked Solo/Duo. You are not compared to pro players or a different lane.
Transparent process, private weights
We publish how comparison works and how large the pool is. We do not publish metric weights or proprietary formulas.
Scoring pipeline
Three steps from match data to your Nex Score and NXL Priority.
Step 1
Your ranked games
We analyze Solo/Duo match history for the profile you search — stats, timelines when available, and role context.
Step 2
Compare to the pool
Each metric is compared to players at the same tier and role in our offline calibration pool (not live matchmaking).
Step 3
Nex Score & priority
Scores normalize to 0–100 per pillar. 50 is typical for your segment. NXL Priority surfaces the largest actionable gap.
Calibration pool
Offline ranked Solo/Duo data used to build baselines — separate from your live profile window.
What we measure
Six pillars on the Nex Score radar. Sub-pillars group related in-game behaviors.
Pool overlay on the radar
The rank overlay shows how a typical player at the selected tier scores on each pillar.
Champion overlay narrows the pool to your main — useful when execution on one pick matters most.

Sample requirements
- At least 5 ranked Solo/Duo games for a GPI; we recommend 20 in your recent window for stable coaching.
- Play more ranked Solo/Duo, then refresh the profile.
Not published
- Individual metric weights and blending formulas
- Full baseline tables per segment
- Proprietary pattern detection thresholds
Your data
What NXL reads when you search a profile, how it is stored, and what is sent to third parties.
Profile analysis
Searching a Riot ID pulls ranked Solo/Duo match history and stats from Riot's API. NXL computes GPI, Nex Score, patterns, and recommendations — results may be cached on the server for faster reloads.
Coach
Aggregated stats from your analysis are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude, depending on tier) to generate coaching text. Coach responses are not stored in our database by default.
Account & device
An account is optional. Favorites and recent searches may live in your browser (local storage). Sign-in uses essential session cookies; see the on-site cookie notice.
No data resale
NXL does not sell player data or run advertising trackers. Match data is used for coaching analytics only.
